Declaration on the Holy Bible

The Pastors’ Council of India (PCI) solemnly declares that the Holy Bible serves as the Universal Constitution—a timeless and authoritative guide to eternal life, human dignity, liberty, justice, and a civilized society. The Bible is not merely a religious book; it provides a comprehensive way of life that upholds the sanctity of human life, promotes peace and environmental stewardship, and fosters moral and ethical conduct under God’s divine order.

The Holy Bible leads humanity toward truth, righteousness, and responsible living, offering principles that transcend culture, nation, and time. Its teachings form a foundational framework for harmonious coexistence, moral governance, and the spiritual fulfilment of mankind.

In this spirit, the Pastors’ Council of India respectfully appeals to the United Nations Organization and to all nations of the world to recognize the universal significance of the Holy Bible, not merely as a religious text, but as a guiding constitutional framework for humanity.

Furthermore, the Pastors’ Council of India urges global authorities to remove Christianity from the list of religions, affirming its unique role as a universal truth and divine way of life that transcends traditional religious categorization, while fully honoring its profound theological depth as the path to eternal life.
